Features
The TM14D offers different blade types, sizes, and spacing options for optimal performance.
Four blade configurations are available:
Blade Type
The Notched Front and Rear disk blades on the TM14D Series result in a more aggressive soil penetration, cutting, and mulching, leaving a finer soil finish. Recommended for heavier to medium soil types.
For blades that slice and mix, resulting in a smoother soil finish, Smooth Rear disk blades are also available. Smooth rear disk blades are recommended for light to medium soils.
Spacings
7.25-in. spacing, front and rear
9-in. spacing, front and rear
The disk gangs can easily be adjusted to match changing soil conditions, with its toolless ergonomic pin design. Each of the 4 adjustment points have 6 pin positions, allowing the operator to use a more aggressive angle to tear up and penetrate high residue and soil or by reducing the angle for a smoother finish.
To adjust the disk angle, simply raise the machine then remove the hairpin & pin, slide the gang to the desired position using the handle, and reinstall the pin & hairpin.
Disk depth and leveling are made easy with just two manual adjustments.
Disk depth is controlled with the depth control crank. Simply raise the machine and turn the crank handle clockwise, to decrease disk depth, or counterclockwise, to increase disk depth. An indicator flag is included to provide a reference to disk depth.
Front to rear leveling is also adjusted via a simple crank handle. Adjustments can be made to increase penetration on the front gang or decrease penetration to provide the desired field finish. Blade adjustments for front-to-rear leveling on the Frontierâ„¢ TM14D Tandem Disk Harrow lets the operator easily fine-tune the implement to avoid ridges and valleys in varying soil types and field conditions.
The Frontierâ„¢ DH15 Series Disk Harrow hydraulic controls let the operator raise and lower the disk while on the go.
*Safety chains come standard with all models.
For increased blade penetration in tough or dry conditions, the TM14D has been designed with a heavy-duty steel frame heavy-duty tubing to provide proper implement weight.
The Clevis Hitch of the TM14D Series Tandem Disk Harrow is category 1 and 2 compatible. It also features multiple adjustment holes to properly align with a variety of tractor drawbar heights.
*Safety chains come standard with all models.
Transport lights come standard on the TM1412D Tandem Disk Harrow and include taillights and turn signals.
*Reflective decals, SMV/SIS signs & brackets are included in standard equipment.
Operators can add the optional rolling basket to help break up clods for improved levelness, uniformity of field finish, and an improved overall seed bed preparation. With just a wrench, the operator can adjust the down pressure of the rolling basket to match conditions.
The middle breaker cuts out the center bulk that can be left between the front disk gangs, for a more level soil profile, ensuring complete coverage on each pass.
The Furrow Filler Kit provides additional smaller-diameter disk blades that mount to the outermost rear disk gangs, helping to fill in the furrow and eliminate ridging that can be created by the outermost disk blade.
Improve disk blade performance by removing soil buildup from disk blades in wet, sticky soil types with the Scraper Kit.
