Engine Oil Warranty John Deere Plus-50™ II Premium Engine Oil Limited Performance Warranty

John Deere guarantees Plus-50™ II Premium Engine Oil will meet or exceed the performance needs of diesel engines. If an oil defect causes engine damage, John Deere will cover parts and labor under this warranty.

What’s Covered

John Deere will pay for engine damages (parts & labor) caused by an oil defect if:

The defect is verified by oil analysis.
The oil used is unadulterated, non-contaminated Plus-50™ II.
The oil meets engine manufacturer’s specs.
The engine is properly maintained and used under normal conditions.

How to Make a Claim

Provide records showing service was performed per manufacturer’s recommendations.
Submit an oil sample for analysis of the failed engine.
Make the failed engine available for inspection.

Important Exclusions:

John Deere disclaims all liability for indirect or consequential damages.
Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness are excluded.

Your rights and remedies under this warranty are limited as stated herein. Effective January 1, 2017.
